Question #161
Where can information on how to check that the auxiliary brake works correctly be found?
Informacje dotyczące sposobu sprawdzania poprawności działania hamulca pomocniczego są zawarte w:
a
In the regulation on the operation of lifting and handling equipment
rozporządzeniu w sprawie eksploatacji urządzeń transportu bliskiego
b
In the forklift truck operating manual
instrukcji obsługi wózka
Correct answer
c
In the Act on Technical Inspection
ustawie o dozorze technicznym
d
In the occupational health and safety (BHP) inspector’s guidelines
wytycznych inspektora BHP
Why?
The auxiliary brake (hamulec pomocniczy) is checked according to the operating manual (instrukcja obsługi) for the specific forklift truck. Brake designs and checking methods can differ between models. A general regulation does not replace the manufacturer’s detailed procedure.
