Question #248
Who determines the type and size of tyres used on forklift trucks?
Kto decyduje o rodzaju i wielkość opon zastosowanych w wózkach:
a
the tyre manufacturer
producent opon
b
the maintenance technician
konserwator
c
the forklift truck manufacturer
producent wózka
Correct answer
d
the UDT inspector
inspektor UDT
Why?
The forklift truck manufacturer (producent wózka) specifies approved tyre types and sizes in the documentation because they affect load capacity and stability. The maintenance technician (konserwator) selects and replaces tyres according to these requirements, not personal preference.
