Question #98
Who determines the type and size of tyres used on a forklift truck?
Kto decyduje o rodzaju i wielkość opon zastosowanych w wózku:
a
the tyre manufacturer
producent opon
b
the maintenance technician
konserwator
c
the forklift truck manufacturer
producent wózka
Correct answer
d
the UDT inspector
inspektor UDT
Why?
The forklift truck manufacturer (producent wózka) specifies the approved tyre type and size because they affect the truck's stability and safe operation. The maintenance technician (konserwator) selects tyres according to these requirements rather than personal preference. These specifications are not set by the UDT inspector either.
