Why?
Before work, select a lifting sling (zawiesie) of suitable construction, check its condition and ensure its working load limit (DOR, dopuszczalne obciążenie robocze) is sufficient for the planned lift. Use the DOR applicable to the chosen slinging method and sling-leg angles (kąty cięgien). Adequate capacity alone is not enough if the sling is worn or unsuitable for the load.
